Remembering Dave...
As you may know, we lost long-time team member Dave Saluskin this summer after a sudden illness.
At the Community of Hope Luncheon, we celebrated and remembered our friend, Dave. We also announced the rededication of the hygiene center in his honor.
The ICS Hygiene Center is now known as:
Dave's Day Center at ICS
A beautiful plaque was presented during the event to longtime Hygiene Center guest and friend of Dave, Ignacio Guerrero.
2024 Spirit of Hope - Mary Kirkendall
Mary (and her late husband Ben) have truly lived out our mission to care for the most vulnerable throughout ICS and beyond. They have spent hundreds of hours chopping vegetables for the monthly Community Lunch, not to mention serving, carving turkeys and cleaning up. We are so grateful for all you do and honored to have served alongside you. Thank you Mary!
Mary was not able to join us at the event and the award was received by her son, Jack Kirkendall on her behalf.
The SPIRIT OF HOPE AWARD recognizes those who inspire hope individuals, groups and organizations who inspire hope and work alongside ICS to further our mission of caring for those most vulnerable in our community.
